  1. I just came back from Barcelona, and I must say it's not what I thought it would be. The nightlife is really lacking, even Time Out Barcelona admits that. The good news is they have live bands, but I found some places charged like up to 15% per drink if they had live bands, which is nuts. They do have a Temple Bar in Las Ramblas, and it's about as good as in Ireland. I'd say stick to Mallorca if you're looking to party.

  2. They're okay - not better than England, the night life is quite dull. However, people are a lot friendlier, and the girls are always approachable, friendly, and easy to chat up ;)

  3. There are loads of great clubs in BCN, you just need to know where to look! A lot of the tourist don't stray from the Ramblas which is for tourists.

If you go down to the 'Port Olympic' there are some great pub/bars/restaurants and are right on the beach!

Club Danzatoria up in Avda. Tibidabo is a great place to go, the music is fantastic, get dressed up though.

La Terrazza -  Avda. Marqués de Comillas is another good place to go a lot of well know DJ's recommend this place!

Le Kashba - in Barceloneta is a Moroccan styled place with some great chill out music for after hours

One of the most famous is Pacha - which although expensive is a great place at the weekend.

If you want to have a look though there are a couple of websites with great info - Barcelona.com and check out the Barcelona metropolitan it's a magazine in English which you can pick up from more or less any pub in Barcelona, they also have a website.

    Enjoy your time here!
