What is the coldest outside temperature you've been in?

For me it was about -25F in MN (USA) about -32C. BRRRRRR! I live in Arizona now.

  1. i liv in montreal canada, coldest was about -35c and with the wind chill factored in it felt like -45c BRRR not a day for a skirt

  3. -50 (F) in Wells, Nevada back in December 1990 or 1991.  

    I stayed at the Motel 6, and set an alarm so that every hour I got up and started my vehicle and let it run until it was fully warmed up.  The old guy in the room next door started getting up when he heard my car start and he'd warm up his vehicle.

    The next morning, ours were the ONLY two vehicles at the Motel 6 that were able to start.

    --- Oh, and it was cold enough we were using the ice scraper on the inside of the driver's and passenger's, because the defroster couldn't keep them clear...  It was doing everything it could just to keep the windshield clear enough so we could make it to Wells...  We also passed numerous semis that were stopped on the side of the road because the fuel gelled...
