Question:

What is the coldest weather in which you've been able to grow veggies?

obviously, i'm only talking about hardy veggies, like kale and spinach.

i know they can take 30 F.

sometimes 20 F.

what about 15 degrees F? if it warms up to 45 in the day? Can they still grow?

  1. In high temperatures plants or veggies like bajra can grow.Low temperature....mainly conifers are grown the only crop i can think of is nut trees

  4. I really  can't tell you to much I'm just getting in to gardening myself, but there is a good book called The Self Sufficient Gardener! I can't remember the authors name. But if you go to your public library I'm sure they can find it for you, That's were I found it.
