What is the common size for most Road Bike wheels? i have one with 26" (but it it says 700c on the wheel).?

i think the bike was advertised as having 26" wheels, but the wheel has 700c listed on the it.

700c wheels are the most common on road bikes.  36 spokes are the most common.  A lot of bikes today have 32 spoke wheels or less.

A long time ago some bikes were equipped with 27" rims.  These are obsolete these days.  27" tires are hard to find these days.
