What is the concept of 4th dimension?

are we three dimensional slaves ? is there any way we can explore more dimensions using our 5 senses ?

Yeah..could be. I feel there are many things just beyond our understanding in the universe just as u cant explain the theory of relativity to a dog, can u?But there should exist. only evolution can tell.

I have seen this topic arise on more and more occasions lately.  The concept of a 4th dimension is that 4D entities could pass through 3D spaces.  This concept is hard to well.. conceptualize.  Some people believe that this explains ghosts.

Well, the fourth dimension is time. And there are actually 14 dimensions (11 if you don't believe in string theorie). And I don't believe that there is any way that we can explore any more dimensions, but that is just my beliefs.

no not with the 5 senses we have because the way we see smell touch feel or hear is just a produce of things moving in 3 dimensions.

also just as an addition there are actually up to 11, at least some mathematical equations support those, and string theory adds a few. but the 4th dimension is time.

btw if you are curious string theory is a concept which particles like the few quarks in a proton is not a point but a string of energy and what determines what particle it is is just the freq. so to speak of the wave. if this is true we could explain everything in the universe by knowing what freq of the strings is what.
