  1. Draft players.

And you when accordingly to how good your players did that week.

Its always good to make sure you have back up thoughs, you know, for the Bye Weeks.

  2. you have a draft, probably with 9 other people and one by one pick players who you think will have a good year and get you the most points. every team usually has a quarterback, 2 running backs, 3 wide receivers, 1 tight end, 1 kicker, and 1 defense. also, backup players (or bench) that you use during bye weeks or injuries.

    Points system:

quarterbacks- 4 pts a TD, 1 pt every 25 passing yards, -2pt INT, 1 pt every 10 rushing yards.

Running backs- 6 pts a TD, 1 pt every 10 yards (RB should get you the most points so they are usually first selected in drafts)

Wide Recievers- 6 pts a TD, 1 pt every 25 receiving yards.

    Tight End- same as recievers

Kickers- 1 pt for PAT, 3 for field goals under 39 yards, 4 points 40-49 yards, and 5 points for 50+ yards.

Defense- 6 pts for TD, 2 for INT, 2 FF, 10 shutout.

most of the leagues are head to head where each week you play someone else and the team with the most points wins, and the most wins either wins or you have a playoff starting around week 14.

also, different sites have different scoring systems.
