I am thinking about getting an ipod touch and i noticed that they offer a refurbished one for 100$ less. Has anyone bought one and does it have any defects? Is it scratched on the back? Is it's touch sensitivity less responsive? Please provide any additional information about it.

  1. A refurbed player has been sent back to the manufacturer and inspected for quality.  Typically, a technician will test the internal components of the player to ensure they are up to spec.  Anything that fails or is worn out is replaced.  Typically, refurbs contain working or new internal components.  However, the outer case is often scuffed or scratched.  You should read the product description carefully to see whether the outer casing is in good shape.  Typically, most refurbed electronics are in like-new working shape, but show signs of "wear."
