  1. In India those who were considered untouchables are better off now as they get lot of privileges and advantages in education, jobs, promotion  etc.


  2. Officialy there are no Untouchables. Unofficially they are not even part of the castsystem. But bassically it's a thing that's getting more and more of the past.
