  1. Chances are, your insurance will go up if you file a claim. At least you got the dog.Had you tried to avoid it, you could have gotten yourself killed, or injured someone else. The dog does not have the right-of-way, and the dogs owner should be responsible for the damage, but insurances dont seem to work that way for whatever reason.

  2. Probably not a big one if it jumped out in front of you.  You might have to pay the owner back in some way.

  3. It is covered as a comprehensive claim and there are no consequences to you or your policy. Turn in the claim and get your car fixed.  The owner of the dog was likely at fault for not keeping it tied up, so if he wants his dog replaced, it will be unlikely that your insurance company will pay for that.

  4. Usually bloody smears on the road, your vehicle, etc. If you mean LEGAL, none, as it's not your fault for hitting the animal...only if you are negligent in not trying to help it if it's not dead. People are supposed to keep their dogs on leashes or in a yard, legally, so you are legally OK. Unless you leave a suffering animal in pain, alive, and just drive on. Then I hope you burn in h**l forever, man.

  5. There is no consequences, it's a comprehensive claim (meaning there's no fault and it DOES NOT affect your premium).  If there's damage to your vehicle, your deductible applies.

  6. nothing as long as u eeat the evidence...just kidding there are no fines or consequences, just guilt

  7. besides knocking out the lights or grill or bending something under the car busting a wheel or tire maybe .... hey its best you dont try and miss but it happens... you should stop and remove them from road if they dead.... and if theres a house close by you should let someone know.... other than that nothing
