According to Wikipedia, Muslims were either allied with or subduing all the tribes of the Arabian peninsula.

Also before you mention the crusades - Muslims expanded Islam too. Look put it this way - Islam means submission yes? Ok so does Allah love the disbelievers? According to the Quran certainly not, and he is against democracy and other man-made laws. So the truth about Islam is it is supremacist because it's about getting man to submit to god, yes?

yes you're right..muslims do expanded islam throughout the country..but you must always remember this word...

human or mankind are NOT forced to embrace Islam. but, If you have become a muslim, you are a muslim till you dies. Those who want to leave Islam will be punished as the law of Hudud says.

As a matter of fact, when we come across of a Hadith, we should be aware of the Qur'an and reconcile the Hadith with the Qur'an. If in any way the Hadith opposes the Qur'an, it is neglected and thrown away. However, it is not that simple and it has its own science, "The Science of Hadith."

Coming to your question, I have not seen that Hadith, if you could give us the reference, it would be appreciated.

Anyways, assuming that the Hadith is true and authentic, it can never be generalized as a perpetual rule or an eternal law that Muslims should follow till the end of the world. The Qur'an makes this quite clear in the following verses:

002.256 Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things.

Al-Qur'an, 002.256 (Al-Baqara [The Cow])

And also:

010.099 If it had been thy Lord's will, they would all have believed,- all who are on earth! wilt thou then compel mankind, against their will, to believe!

Al-Qur'an, 010.099 (Yunus [Jonah])

If a country doesn't allow its people to practice Islam, people will have to struggle and make the country allow them to practice Islam just as it allows other religions.

Wow, this is definetely a huge topic you have posed here- especially for those who seek to understand Islam as a religion and as a way fo life. You will also have to be careful at who;s translation and who's islamic school of thought are you following. You will need to examin carefully and through your own logic an understanding of what each is saying. However, Islam does mean- submission to god. Meaning you submit yourself to the will of ALlah. The prophet Mohmada PBUH- has a lot of hadith- however, you will need to be careful at the translation. As things sometimes are trnaslated literaly- Arabic language uses symbolic and representational words that are not easily understood within the context of the english language. So be careful at how you approach the hadith... In the quran- Christians and Jews are respected as beleivers, because they are people of the book. We cannot be muslims unless we admit that they were before us- all prophets leading to Mohammad came from the same grandfather.... There are many  ignorant muslims and there are plenty who are muslims by associate rather than by truly belief and education.

yes its all about submitting to God you said muslim expanded Islam? yes the prophet sent a message to the roman king asking him to islam and he was insulted he sent 2 men to kill the prophet you can look up that story if you want is very good one but that's the issue they refused islam and didn't let their people accept it or gave them the choice

but again u will say why muslims take money from disbelievers when they don't accept Islam? hm if you compare how much the muslims took from the farmers to the Roman or the persian  empire its nothing but your a truth seeker go find out :)
