What is the contrast between curiosity and nosiness?

Where is the line drawn?

Well i like to ask questions because i'm a seeker of knowledge!  But i know when to stop, because then it's none of my business.  I asked a friend of mine about another friend who had some trouble.. and i was told he was in the wrong place ath the wrong time... or it's when i know they heard me and don't give me an answer so i don't ask the question again and i just drop it.

Curiosity is a lot less intrusive.  Someone who is just curious won't ask too many questions.  They just usually want to know the small stuff.  Someone who is being nosy wants to know everything: who, what, when, where, why, and how...etc.
