  1. CD57 is a cell surface marker...I'm assuming you mean the antibody detection of CD57. It would depend on the assay you're doing. For immunoblotting, the control would be antibody for a housekeeping gene like beta-actin or GADPH. For immunohistochemistry or flourescent staining, the control would be a negative isotype control that doesn't recognize any cell markers but still carries the flurescin or HRP.
