  1. The Snellen  is based on 20 feet.

    Most other places, it is based on 6 meters...(the equivalent in meters) so, 20/20 and  6/6 are the same thing. Get it?


  2. In the US it is based on 20 feet...

    Everywhere else in the world, it is 6 meters...(metric equivalent)

    so, 20/20 or 6/6 is the same thing.
