  1. the carnival conquest it was an amazing experience the ship had a basketball court a waterslide a few pools great entertainment and food we went cozumel montego bay and grand cayman it was very very fun i reccomend it to all!!!

  2. I have done 103 cruises to date.  To say that I love cruising is of course an understatement.  I have been in the Travel Business for 34 years so part of my cruising experience has been work related!  Hey someone had to do it.

I have sailed on the floating cities we now call cruise ships.  I have sailed on the yacht like smaller ships as well.  Big ships,  small ships, ships with sails, ships without!  Ships with thousands of passenger, ships with 12 passengers!  I have cruised around the world on some ships.  Short or long, I have cruised and recommend it highly.

I have sailed on the grand ships, legendary ships like the QE2.  I have sailed on the first Carnival Cruise ever back in the early 70's on the Mardi Gras.

They all have one thing in common, they take me away from the everyday world and put me at one with the sea.

The "coolest" cruise I have been on outside of Alaska and the Fjords of Norway would be one of my last cruises on Silver Seas Cruise Lines.

We flew to Europe First Class from Los Angeles, took the Orient Express to Venice, Italy, then we boarded the Silver Cloud.

The ship is all-inclusive with complimentary spirits and amenities. When nothing is excluded, anything is possible. New and unexpected pleasures. Rare opportunities to embrace the exotic. Aboard these magnificent and intimate ships you can experience the best the world has to offer in a place where you can feel free to live life to its fullest.

Silver Seas has been voted the World's Best Small Ship Cruise Line from Conde Nast Traveler 9 years in a row and Travel & Leisure for 6 Years in a row.  Silver Seas was even voted one of the best DESTINATIONS in the world.  Not a city mind you, a ship!!

The ship is a magnificent all-suite, all inclusive ship and I sailed her for two weeks through the Greek Islands, Turkey and Egypt, ending up in Israel.  While I had been to these ports of call before, the attention to detail that I experienced on board was superb.

I had a lovely suite with veranda and the service, the fellow passengers and the weather were just incredible.

While this cruise program is extremely expensive, (around $40,000 for two people) it is an experience not to forget.   Not for everyone indeed but truly memorable.

Now I also have had some wonderful weekend cruises on Carnival for a couple of hundred dollars.  It is all in the attitude.  I did not go on Carnival for the weekend and expect Silver Seas.

Emerson said it best:  We travel the world over to find the beautiful but we must carry it with ourselves or we will find it not.

It is all about the right attitude and the spirit of adventure that makes the travel experience worthwhile.

It is the cruise experience that is wonderful.  I am sure that you will agree with me on that.  The Navigator of the Seas is a wonderful RCL ship and you can certainly say that you have had a great experience cruising!

I hope that our experiences will light the desire in others and that they too will have the wonderful experience of a cruise.

Bon Voyage and may all of your sailings be smooth!

  3. The Mariner of the Seas, it was so much fun and so many things to do.

  4. I went on the Golden Princess in the Caribbean a couple of years ago, I loved it because we went to so many different islands.  I reccomend getting a room with a private balcony, it made the experience so much more fun, than when we did an inside room.

  5. explorer of the seas is a good one!!! get a suite tho there way way nicer

  6. Regent Seven Seas...MS Paul Gaugin...ultra luxury small cruiseship. Tahiti, Bora Bora, Moorea and several other small Islands.

  7. they are all fun..

  8. All cruises are fun.  It's the only way to travel!!

  9. have been on 2 so far but I do believe I will have to get back to you after Sept, we have the best yet booked for then on the Carnival Glory, a 7 day to Cozumel, Costa Maya, Belize City, and Nassau. been told by many it is one of the best ships they have.

already been to Cozumel and Nassau but look forward to seeing them again

  10. Royal Princess 28 day cruise starting in Santiago Chile, going all the way around the southern tip of South America and following the Eastern Side of Brazil, up the Amazon River and ending in Manaus where the waters of two major rivers converge.

There were many interesting ports along the way, some of it was like being in Alaska, then, of course, much of it was very tropical.  The cruise was actually two cruises joined into one, the first from Santiago, Chile, down the coast and around to Buenos Aires with a stop in Uruguay and another side excursion to the Falkland Islands.

The second leg was from Buenos Aires and there were several stops in Brazil.

We also did another 28 days on the QE2 from NYC to Southampton, England, then several cities on the Med, back to Southhampton and back to NYC.  We arrived in the early morning as the sun was coming up on the Statue of Liberty.

  11. I went on Freedom of the seas to the carribean and it was amazing. so much fun. There was so much to do on the ship and the islands were beautiful. The staff was friendly and the food was great. I'd def. go again in a heartbeat.... so fun!

  12. I've never been on a big cruise ship (except for the Queen Mary, which is permanently docked), but I went on a great sailboat cruise 8 years ago!

There were 7 of us on a 42' sailboat in the British Virgin Islands. We sailed for 14 days over the millennium! It was awesome. We hit Anegada, Virgin Gorda, Tortola, Cooper Island, Peter Island, Norman Island, and Jost Van d**e. There was a HUGE party on Dec. 31 at a bar called Foxy's on one of the smaller islands -- we heard that 8000 people attended that night! We had a blast. My fiance at the time did all the sailing.

  13. I will agree with what was said already cruising is sooooo much fun.... the best cruise I was on was Carnival destiny this past feb. It was very port intensive and all the islands were sooo nice.... cant wait to cruise again!!!
