  1. Mexico City and Puebla.  For sure....I nearly froze during the winter there.....and for LuckyLady20....Guadalajara is about 5-6 hours WEST of Mexico City.  I live there.

  2. it gets cooler in northern mexico, and in &around mexico city

  3. Guadalajara is very nice.  It doesn't get too cold.  It's very beautiful there, and it's not desert (northern mexico is desert).  It's like 2 hrs above mexico city.

  4. It gets very cool in the mountain regions.  Many towns are at 8,000 or more ft. of elevation and get downright cold.  I live in the state of Veracruz at 4,000 ft and by the end of Oct. the daytime temps are in the 60's and at nite it is in th 50's or even 40's.  It is not whether a place is in the north or south of Mexico that determines the temperstures. It is the elevation.

  5. zacatecas, guadalajara, and aguascalientes can be pretty cool in october but of these 2 i recommend guadalajara because the weather is nice all year and there are many things to do there
