What is the copyright policy for photos submitted to Shutterstock.com?

Does the submitter holds the copyright and ownership of the photo still? Thanks.

I'm a member of shutterstock, and I can tell you that, YES, you will retain to the copyright to all your pictures.  That means that if you want to sell you pictures on shutterstock and somewhere else, you can! It also means that you can enter your pictures into photo contests even if your pictures are also online at shutterstock.  So don't worry, YOU STILL OWN ALL OF YOUR PICTURES.
