Question:

What is the cornerstone of the Full English Breakfast?

I think that the most important element is Bacon. A delusional friend of mine thinks that it is sausage! My wife makes a very good argument that Eggs are the cornerstone as they not only appear in a Full English but also in Eggs and Bacon, Egg on Toast, etc (however, she's a veggie and would say that!). What is your view and why???

  1. I think the cornerstone of any English Breakfast is the cup of tea - English Breakfast of course! LOL JK

I think the most important element is um... well... my least favourite element is the toast, but eggs, bacon and sausage are all good!  But if I was going to have a breakfast that consisted of just one item, I'd have to go with the eggs!

  2. Wouldn't the cornerstone of the Full English Breakfast be the english muffin.  Nooks and crannies my friend, nooks and crannies.

  3. .The Egg is the Center Course with Everything Else Arranged around It

  4. egg or bacon i guess

  5. The answer my friend is undoubtedly bacon. What man (or veggie woman)could think any other part of an English breakfast "the cornerstone". Granted it is great to dip your sausage in the egg but you can do tht with sausage, egg and chips...... At teatime. The egg comes second but a man who thinks a sausage is the cornerstone probably has a thesp for a brother. Hanky panky spanky monkey!

  6. I like a good bloody Haggis for breakfast myself but maybe you should try a Shepherd's pie or something you limp wristed fairy.

  7. the fried slice! it is the only thing you would ever have that you would not have with any other meal.  i hate it but it is lovely with the full english.

  8. BLACK PUDDING!!!
