  1. 1. Percentage of a Number = (Percentage / 100) x Number

    2. 10% of 575 = (10 / 100) x 575

    = 57.5

Hope i helped in some way!

  2. well 10% is 10/100 which equals 1/10 which when converted to a deciaml is 0.1

You multiply 0.1 bye 575 which equals 57.5

The same with any other if you want 3% of 575 you multiply 575 by 0.03 (3/100)

If you want 125% of 575 you multiply 575 by 1.25 (125/100) ect...

    Hope this helps
