What is the correct literary term for this?

"...with the serenity of a man whose customary implement is a butcher knife..."

Would that be described as a metaphor? I am unsure.

  2. its not anything its just good description

    it just makes the line interesting

    metaphor is when you say something is something else for example

    "her eyes were blue jewels" and thats not what this writer is doing.
