  1. i am going to go with c even though its not correct because the real answer is 30 compressions to 2 breathes

  2. 15 and 2.. its always 15 and 2

  3. Well, I believe that a government study stated the 30:2 ratio as appropriate...

But, I need to renew my license.

  4. e. 30 compressions to 2 breaths.

I just had a CPR class last November.

  5. B was correct until 2005.

As of 2005, the ECC (the group that sets the standards) changed the standards, now the Red Cross, Heart Association and Safety Council ALL teach a ratio of 30:2 for all one-rescuer CPR for all ages.

I suspect your class is using some old information.

This means it is also possibly teaching some other old techniques- which are OK, but the new stuff is easier and more effective.
