Question:

What is the correct ruling when a player raises out of turn in Texas Hold 'Em

For example: Player A's turn to act but Player B raises to $X. The way we have played is that if Player A checks or bets < $X, Player B must call the bet. Otherwise options as normal. What is the ruling in a proper tournament?

 1. The rule that we always play by, is that player B takes his bet back and it is still player A's turn. It does help player A out, because now he knows what player B would have done.
