    in sizing a CB for UPS, certain measures should be taken during calculations, according to the standard u are following

    but anyway generally u have:

    design current= S/(1.732xVxcosPHI)

    where V is the line to line voltage, and cosPHI is the power factor

    now to get the CB rating:

    u multiply the design current by 1.1 or 1.25 according to the standards u r following

    but, its all a matter of sense and practice

  3. Current for a 12000va ups is 57.69 at 208 volts. SO the appropriate circuit breaker is 60 amperes, 2 poles.
