Do you stop and wait for it to go away, or

do you slow down, or

just ignore it?

I can't really run yet, I just walk fast and try to be a little faster each day. But after a two months of walking, I'm starting to get stitches. The route I used to walk in 1 hour now takes me 40 min.

  1. My remedy is this: Lets say you start to get a stitch on your right side, when your right foot hits the ground breathe in, when your right foot hits the ground again breathe out. It works for me. Good Luck.

  2. slow down your breathing. it should go away shortly, but something to help prevent them: i also like to stretch out my side muscles before i go to run. put your hands together over your head and lean to each side. you should feel your side muscles stretching as you lean. ive found this stretch to help a lot.

  3. keep running same speed it will go

  4. If you feel a cramp, you're supposed to slow down and pinch it and the pain will go away. But when I get a cramp, I just ignore it and sometimes it will go away and sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't go away, think about other things, it will take your mind off of the pain
