video recording. WHY?

And if I turn it on during the day, the output would be better or poor?

(it shows a half moon, if I turn it on)

In my mobile phone's camera, there is 'Night Mode' setting while taking still images only, and not video recordings.

So what and when is the correct method of using this setting so that best photo quality is obtained? I use Nokia 6233 which has a 2megapixel camera. I have 1GB memory card inserted in my mobile phone for shooting/recording.

As you have guessed it by now, I am completely new to photography. Please ignore my very zero knowledge as I don't really know much about photography.

Please help.

  1. Night mode just turns off the normal auto settings and permits the camera to get reasonable pics. in very low ambient light. Technically, it opens the lens aperture and uses a slower shutter speed. It is just one of the white balance settings you have to pick from.
