I've got a 97 supra twin turbo. What the proper way to drive it so the turbo won't damage. I know about waiting a few mins before and after a ride, use syn oil. But what about the actual drive, like the blow off valves etc..

  1. Drive it as you would any other high performance vehicle. With respect. Don't floor it in top gear or you could cause pinging, which as you may know is DOOm on engines. Other than that, have fun and be careful, friend.

I want you to be around to post more on here. =)

  2. HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. 2nd gear......3500rpm wait full throttle 3rd repeat haha:P nah dont do that lol

blow of valves (BOV's) can hurt the life of your turbo's. avoid flutter because its the air that has exited the turbo being forced back into it and being choppe dup by the compressor wheel;. (explained that in a very simplified way) other wise there fine. warming the car up is probably the best idea and dont fang it untill its at optimum operating temp. like dont rev it past 3000rpm 3200 max

  4. don't pass the red line (rpm)
