What is the correlation between the earth's temperature and greenhouse gas emissions?

There's a two way correlation - as temperatures increase so do levels of greenhouse gases but also, as levels of greenhouse gases increase the temperature increases.  The term for this is Feedback Effect or Feedback Cycle.

The correlation between the two is quite precise and for the 650,000 years for which we have data there is a very good correlation - this graph illustrates it: http://profend.com/global-warming/charts...

In the past of course, rising temperatures have led to increased levels of greenhouse gases which in turn has further warmed the earth.  In more recent times there's been an about turn and it's an increase in greenhouse gases that's preceding rising temperatures.

The plants aren't able to handle our emissions of CO2.  They try, but they're fighting a losing battle.  Details:

The little squiggles are nature doing its' thing. CO2 falls a bit during summer when plants are active, and rises during the winter. The huge increase is us, burning fossil fuels (in addition to the shape of the graph, the increase numerically matches the increase in fossil fuel use). The scientists can actually show that the increased CO2 in the air comes from burning fossil fuels by using "isotopic ratios" to identify that CO2.  The natural carbon cycle buried carbon in fossil fuels over a very long time, little bit by little bit. We dig them up and burn them, real fast.  That's a problem.

Man is upsetting the balance of nature.  We need to fix that.

Every scientist that claims there is man made global warming is being paid by, what can only be called proponents of global warming. The other people who are pushing it are generally politicians with an agenda or corporations who stand to make large amounts of money from it.

There is, however a direct correlation between solar activity and changes in our environment, that can be traced back millions of years on this planet, and also can be seen on other planets in our solar system right now

Over the past 19 years, 2500 scientists have studied the problem.  Their conclusion is that increases in greenhouse gases are contributing to the long-term increase in the Earth's temperature.  Since the half-life of C02 is about 100 years, the problem won't fix itself unless we seriously reduce our CO2 emissions quickly.

There is none . CO2 is being recycled by the plants and photosynthesis check it out on the net.

Methane is a very light gas and goes very high. Now how did the environmentalist get there numbers as they did not measure it. I can not find the methane anywhere .
