If you're talking whole cake, it could be somewhere around €10-really expensive. For example, if you were to by a Sachertorte from the hotel Sachertorte, could be potentially really expensive.

But I would say that coffee and a piece of cake at a café should cost you about €5.

PS. They have really tasty cakes here. If you get a chance, definitely try a  piece of sachertorte (not from the hotel, which is located in Vienna across from the Opera house).
