average I suppose - although the drinks are much larger so you probably spend less.  ÃƒÂ‚£5 for average meal.

Come to Madrid, it is a lot nicer. We have culture (museums), the best cuisine, the only problem is we lack a beach but apart form that you will find it a far better experience.

Not sure on that area, but like most places that have a high tourist trade you are better getting of the main streets and looking for local restaraunts with a local clientele. Usually much cheaper, better food, and you get to try authentic Spanish food, not international c**p.
