  1. it depends, i know some people who have leased horses for $100 a month but mine costs $1,000 a month for HALFlease

    check your local stable

  2. I'm about an hour and a half from you, and I've been half-leasing a horse for $200 a month. That's approximately half the costs of boarding/farrier/vet. Some owners will require you to take lessons as well which would increase your cost. The price of the actual lease will depend a lot on how much boarding costs at the barn the horse is stabled at. Good luck finding your horse! :)

  3. it could vary from free to a lot of money...

at my barn it's half the board per month. so for a month it was $200.

depends where you lease, find a horse you like, and figure it out

  4. There is a great range in the cost. First, it depends what kind of horse you're leasing. Is it a show horse, or an eventer, or a trail horse, or what? Could cost you anywhere from $100-$700 per month. And some leases require an up-front lease fee as well, which again, depends on the horse. Could be $100, could be $10,000. Ask at local barns and see what they charge. That's your best bet :)

  5. Like Amy said' 100 and up,

Try putting adds up in your Local Feed Stores, and also Tractor Supplies. And your Towns News Paper. Visit your near by Stables.

I wish you the best on your new horse!

  6. It depends on which half your leasing. I imagine the front half would be more expensive than the rear half.
