My work is relocating me to Calgary. They told me that the cost of living is about 15% higher there, but I can't find any info. A website would be very helpful.

  1. Compared with major metropolitan centers across North America, Calgary’s cost of living is very good. Calgary offers an affordable lifestyle for households of all sizes. Alberta has the lowest personal income tax rates in Canada, and no provincial sales tax.

A March 2004 study confirms that Calgary along with other cities in Alberta has the lowest personal tax rates in Canada. In terms of total cost of living, Calgary is significantly more affordable than Montreal, Seattle, Boston, Vancouver, Toronto and San Jose.

Best of luck with your plans.
