  1. Seattle is more expensive because its closer to the city... But it depends on what you want? Aparment? Condo? House? I need more info. I live in Washington, near Seattle-ish

But the farther from Seattle is generally gonna be cheaper

  2. Bellevue is a nice area apartments can get pricy if you are near downtown (studio apt starting at 950+ or so, averege 1 bed. 1400+  houses on average are $450,000 for an older home to well into the millions) if you go to the crossroads area, which is the "ghetto" (there is not actually a ghetto in bellevue it just isn't nice like the rest of bellevue) there are a lot of immigrants there. The down side of bellevue is LOTS of traffic. The eastside of seattle is definately a nice place to live though I live in kirkland about 10 min north and I love it here I have also lived in newcastle its really nice there but there is a very suburban feel to it. I personally like kirkland the best because there are a lot of beaches parks and places to walk as well as shops and resturants the price range is about the same as bellevue hope that helps =)

  3. A lot more than other places around Seattle. Bellevue is the rich district. Consider you'll probably pay 150% or more that of what you would pay in Seattle itself.

  4. you should try moving to kirkland. It's 10 minutes away from bellevue and it's not so bad price range wise.
