  1. My family of 4 couldnt live at the moment on less than £2,000 a month. Its so expensive. Everything is expensive coz of our rotten govermant who are bleeding our nation dry because of tax

  2. I'm a student, so I get a £1500 loan to live on for three months.

Per month, my rent is £250, my bills are about £50, food about £60, drinking about £40 and clothes about £30.

That just about adds up with my loan...

It depends on where you live and what expenses you have. I have a car, so that's a lot of money (petrol, insurance, MOT, fixing it and Tax etc) then I have a very territorial kitten who insists on getting into fights (this uses up most of my money!)

  3. You might not like this, but here's my minimum monthly outgoings.

    Rent - £425 - one bedroom flat / appartment

    Council tax - £85

Travel to and from work (70 miles away) - £280

Clothing (I dont really buy expensive stuuf) - £50 max

    food - £150

    household cleaning stuff - £30

    Electric - £200

    no gas

    Insurance (home) - £10

I'l let you do the maths on that lot thanks

  4. It depends where you are moving from. Do you mean England itself or the whole of the UK? I am in Scotland and it is very expensive, petrol is £1.17 per litre, rent for a 2 bed flat is £60 per week and council tax £25 per week, most jobs are the minimum wage. My daughter has 2 kids and they spend about £100 per week on food, I am single and spend about £25 for basic food per week.

  5. are u a student if so i'd advise you to take out a student loan n maintanance grant to help u with ur living n food costs.

you do not need to pay back the maintainance grant, but tutio fee u do.

maintaince grant is up to 2,700 per year paid to u in 3 installements during ur study year.
