  1. Like many other state capital cities, Nashville has a low/moderate cost of living with good paying jobs.

    I see great economic growth in the state capitals of the US.


  2. Sorry, I can't give you an exact number, but we have lived in Nashville for almost 10 years. Every time I hear about comparative economic articles, Nashville is pretty much in the middle on all topics.

    One BIG positive is no state income tax, although every time the budget is tight, there are noises made about changing that. However, we do have strong grassroots advocate that fight it (so far successfully) every time.

    Personally, my husband and I love it here... and we have lived all over the country.

  3. Contact the Chambers of Commerce for information to be mailed to you. I moved to Nash 3 yrs ago and I love it.

    Not as expensive as many other cities and you have diverse housing to choose from. From apartments, condos to homes. Each home has its own unique style.
