What is the cost to send parcels to a BFPO address?

I need to send a parcel to a BFPO address in Cyprus, is it true this will be cheaper than sending it to an ordinary cyprus address, or is similar to sending a parcel to uk mainland?

Similar to sending to mainland UK address if it works like a USA FPO - the idea being to hide exactly where military personnel are located and to make it easy to get stuff to military people from home.

  When I was in Thailand serving, my wife visited Italy and Germany from the states on a unique trip and mailed letters both via the US mail FPO, leaving them at military bases, and air letters via Italian mail to the Thai base front gate.  USA mail was ordinary first class stamps while Italian/Thai was flimsy air letters that cost several times as much and they arrived in the same time.

Here's a link to the BFPO website which lists the postage rate for letters and parcels. BFPO worldwide parcels are charged at the UK standard rate, so it will be cheaper than using Royal mail.
