What is the craziest rumor that you have heard about yourself that might have been true?

My Hubby got attacked and had a serious head injury. He survived but rumours in our small town had him dead and buried . When I was approched with false sympathy from a couple of the town nose bags and rumour mongers I told them "I guess he didn't like where I burried him because he came home" The look on their faces were priceless. Noisy old bitties.

My dad once heard a rumor that he was dead.  He wasn't - just that he had left for another country to study, but not all his friends knew it.

A friend of mine told people at work told people at work for literally years that I was pregnant with twins.

Then, when I actually got pregnant with twins, people didn't believe me at first!
