  1. there is no medicine for it but keep ur throat and nose clean before going to bed for sleep. it may help to reduce stammering

  2. Ththththerrrss, nnnnoooo memememedicicicine ffffffor it.

  3. ive never heard of medicine, but theres exercises you can practice.  like saying sentences over and over.  "he trusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts."  i think this is from the movie IT.

  4. They don't have an actual medicine for it that you would swallow, rather they do have one option where they insert some sort of device into your ear....similar in appearance and function of a hearing aid...that correctly sends your own voice and sound waves to your own ears at a rate which will decrease, and with time, maybe even eliminate stammering.

  5. there is none

  6. pagoclone

  7. Guess what - they are doing clinical trials on medicine to prevent stammering!

    Cool!

  8. There is no "cure" for stammering/stuttering, but techniques can be learned that will enable the speaker to control his/her speech so there is less stammering/stuttering.

  9. There's no medicine for it, but most people find a way to help their stutter in a non-medical way...for instance, my brother stutters...he learned that if he speaks with a southern accent (which he did not naturally have) that it greatly improved his stutter.  He also tends to speak fairly quietly...the louder he talks the more he stutters.  My son stutters, and he has learned to move his body (generally by pacing, which makes school difficult) while he talks.  If he sits down to talk, he stutters.  Some people learn a rhyme or lymeric that they repeat in their head if they start to stutter.  Some people keep a toothpick between their teeth while they talk... point is, you gotta find what works for you, but I bet there is something that will work for you! :-)

  10. Read poetry out loud every night. You will get so good you wont stammer when expressing yourself.

  11. No medicine available. You need to to retrain your speech and thought processes thru behavior modification.

  12. It depends on the reason for the stammer, my friend has anxiety problems and develops a really bad stammer, to the point that you can't understand him if he doesn't take medicine for his anxiety. Someone that I had class with last year has a pretty pronounced stammer and the solution for him was to learn how to relax and to go to speech therapy. To be able to treat stammering, you have to know the reason behind it.

  13. There isn't any medicine, but there are ways that can help. You could try Hypnosis for instance,or get into a special speech course to help.Try Google.
