  1. Average HOUSEHOLD income is obviously higher than an individual average age.

    Not many places are quoting the "current" average Household income, however, in 2005/06 the Median Income was $1,139 pw, and the Mean Income was $1,410 pw.

    This was at the time that the National average wage was $1,078.60

    The current average wage is $1,183.10 pw for Full-time adult total earnings

    Therefore, based on a similar percentage I would estimate the average Mean houshold income at $1,546 pw, and the Median at $1,249 pw
