i am applying as a housekeeper in a hotel in florida. i heard that there is a recession in the united states and friends have been telling me not to go because united states is encountering calamities nowadays like floods. or is it still safe to apply or is the economic condition still good in this country esp in florida

Choose the city in Florida carefully. Tampa or a city to the north of Tampa may be alright to get least affected by floods and typhoons etc.

Miami may pose greater risk. Avoid castal areas in South and East parts of florida.

Florida is cheaper and low tax state.
