  1. Gas is anywhere from $1.00 to $1.08 a liter.  There is actually 3.785 liters in a gallon so your calculation is wrong, based on that measurement and say $1.04 a liter it would be $3.93 a gallon.  Texaco and Shell are gas stations that are usually the most expensive.  Gulf and most of the no name gas stations are not that bad.  If you are in the San Juan area it might be best to travel 5 to 10 mins to Carolina to get cheaper gas, but the time depends on the traffic.  Campo Rico Ave. has a gas station that is not that bad and its a no name kiddie corner from a shell.

    Hopefully that helps

  2. Today July 19,2008 gas prices went down to 99 cents. In the west side of the Island.Thank God!

  3. Here in Puerto Rico you don't buy gas by gallon but by liter. The liter is around a $1.02 and $1.04, so sum up the liters to make the gallon and you have the total price per gallon which is about four dollars and something else.

  4. its about 4.16 per gallon = 1.04 per liter

  5. Here in PR we buy gas for the litter. It's about $1.03, $1.05, (Regular, not Premium.) etc. Although I have not seen yet any gas station with regular gas more than $1.06.
