zakat is on "harvest" as in Glorious Quran,which means when you get paid for your goods and services,like weekly/monthly,or otherwise.

if you have already paid zakat,on the amount you bought gold,then no need to give zakat every year on the gold you have.

there is NO % age on zakat,as commonly known, 2.5 %.

its up to you how much zakat you can give comfortably.

in Glorious Quran the amount of zakat is on "excess" amount you have.it all comes to ones self,how much zakat one can give,because every individual knows his/her expenses,and the "excess" amount.

is this in Glorious Quran,then in which verse,plz explain.

I think, last time i checked a week or two weeks back, it was between 26-27.

2.5% of the amount is to be payed for zakaah.
