What is the current street style in paris these days? i will be there aug 1 - 10. thank you!?

We got all hung up on looking right and not looking like tourists when we went.  Guess what?  The other guy is right....wear whatever you feel comfortable in.  We saw everything you can imagine and it basically boils down to people dressing for their needs that day:  buisness people wear suits, working people wear work clothes, jeans and tee shirts with tennis shoes were everywhere as were ladies decked out to kill.  Maybe they were models or trying to impress or that's what makes them feel good.  Do whatever you feel like, nobody really cares except you.  Wear what's right for you and have fun.  By the way, there are some dress codes and you can be turned away if not dressed appropriately.  We saw people turned away because they were dressed too casual for the venue, but use your head.  You need to dress up a bit for some restaurants, a dinner cruise on the Seine or Moulin Rouge for example.  Have fun!

who cares wear whatever you like if others dont like what you wear they can take you shoping and buy you the clothes that they like
