What is the current weather like in the Bahamas?

My family and some friends and their families are going on a Cruise next week to and we will be in Nassau on Tuesday and Wednesday, and I saw the 10-day weather for Tuesday and it said scattered thunderstorms. Any Bahamians out there who can tell me if scattered t-storms means we'll be indoors all day, or if it's just a quick big storm that quickly disappears and gets sunny again? I'm worried, and I want to spend a lot of time on the beach and we have a dolphin encounter excursion that day. Please help!

  1. weather.com has a 10 day forecast for Nassau and it looks like you have about a 50/50 chance of thunderstorms or clear skies right now, but it will be in the 80's, which is about 60 degrees warmer than where I am!  Have fun

  3. Right this very second it is in the high 70s there..  Usually in February it gets in to the low 80s during the day, and at night drops down to the low 70s. When I went there, they said there would be 'scattered thunderstorms'. We only had one storm the whole week we were there, and it only lasted about 10 minutes, then the sun came back out and dried everything up.

  4. The thunderstorms pass very quickly - it's been perfect here so I wouldn't worry!
