I'll start,

My daughter Bambi was having a bad morning this morning. She was tired and moody and didn't want to play or watch a movie or anything else she normally does. Worst of all she didn't want to be consoled or let me anywhere near her. After awhile of having her get annoyed and ignore me, I left her alone to cool off. About ten minutes later my step daughter Lia came home from track totally exhausted (early morning practice) went into the living room where the twins were and lay down on the couch. Bambi (who had been avoiding everyone all morning) went right over to the couch and stood there and started whining for Lia to pick her up. At this point my other little girl Cara had to go to the bathroom, so I went upstairs with her to use the potty (she's potty training) when I came back downstairs and into the living room Lia and Bambi were both asleep on the couch, Lia hanging on to her little sister. It was so cute

  1. I'm getting older, so can only remember short term cute things that have happend.  But recently my 4 year old grandson helped our neighbor when her dog became missing.  My older daughter went out to help look around the neighborhood for the dog, but my grandson stood on the porch to announce to everyone that passed by that the dog was missing.  The dogs name happend to be "Marbles."  So whenever anyone passed my 4 year old grandson would yell..."Hey...Erica lost her marbles!!"

  2. Well here are a few that I can think of off of the top of my head. I have a 3 year old boy and a 7 year old girl.

One day I was making my daughter a grilled cheese sandwich and my son wanted something to eat also so I asked him if he would like a grilled cheese sandwich and he said no he didn't want a girl- cheesed sandwich because he is a boy he said that he wanted a boy cheese sandwich. He thought that I was saying girl not grill I thought it was the funniest thing and even when we go out to eat and too this day he calls it a boy cheese.

One day my daughter and I went to the grocery store to but hamburger meat and when we were in the car on the way home she was reading the package and it said ground beef. She asked "Mom is this really ground beef?" I said "Yeah why?" She said well I never seen a beef plant. (she thought that the beef came from the ground "ground beef")

Ad one other time my daughter saw a man with a women's shirt one and she asked mom if a girl that dresses like a boy is a tomboy does that mean when a guy that dresses like a girl is a tom girl? I thought that was very funny.

Kids say the best things because they take everything at face value. I am going to miss this as they get older.

  3. When my son was 2 I heard something in the middle of the night so I got up to see what it was.  There was my baby, sitting on the couch, arms folded behind his head and legs crossed.  I asked him what he was doing and looked at me all serious and said, "Lelaxin"  (relaxing).

It was hard to hold back the laughter as I tucked back in bed.

  4. my daughter, who is 19 now, really liked to hide in small spaces...

when she was three, i sent her upstairs to have a nap.. she was pretty grumpy and needed one... i told her i was coming right up after here... i was finishing up something, so i took longer than i meant to... when i went up to check on her, she wasn't in her room... but i could hear her snoring... .and i looked EVERYWHERE... finally, just because it was the only place left... i looked in the tiny tiny cupboard in the entertainment stand in her room... she had a small one with books and stuffed animals on it... there she was... it was so small and cramped, she had her arm up over her head, she was in a crouched position with her knees up under her chin... and she was sound asleep!!  too cute!!

also... i nearly died laughing when she asked my mother if she'd been a pioneer??  (LOL...she was studying them in school that year...!!)... ummmmmmm  my mother didn't think it was so funny!!...

  5. My youngest son is 8, but this happened when he was 5.  He had seen an old rerun of the Simpsons in which bart wanted a cupcake and Lisa says "Open your mouth and close your eyes and you will get a big surprise."  Taran LOVED that line and used to it "surprise" us all the time.  That summer, we were on vacation and he was eating cashews out of the can.  I asked for one and he gave me the line and I followed instruction and got a surprise for sure...it was rough and splintery and tasted like wood....sure enough it was.  Taran had found a wood chip on the floor and fed it to me....I was pretty disgusted, but he thought it was hilarious....it was the first time he got me good without the help of his older brothers.

  6. Well my son is 2 and he has done a lot of cute things. Right now my favorite is when he tells people "Bye Alligator". He has a book called "See You Later Alligator" Now wherever we go he is always telling people "Bye Alligator" and they just give me a weird look. It always makes me laugh.
