What is the d proggresion ?

i was playing some chord pregressions on my guitar, but then i tried the D chord and i cant remember the chords. help?

  1. There are many different kinds of chord progressions. A common one in is the I, IV, V7 chord progression: for D a good progression would be:

    D, G, A7, B minor

    or skip the Bm if you want to keep it simple...

    (Stories say he once cured a youth of drunkenness by prescribing a melody in the 'Hypophrygian mode in spondaic rhythm'. Apparently the 'Phrygian mode' would have had the opposite effect; would have overexcited him. Just imagine. How do people get through life not knowing this?)


  2. I somehow miss the philosophic quality of this question. However, Pythagoras did say something about music and chords. Maybe ask the question in another forum? (something with music?)
