What is the d proggresion ?

i was playing some chord pregressions on my guitar, but then i tried the D chord and i cant remember the chords. help?

There are many different kinds of chord progressions. A common one in is the I, IV, V7 chord progression: for D a good progression would be:

D, G, A7, B minor

or skip the Bm if you want to keep it simple...

I somehow miss the philosophic quality of this question. However, Pythagoras did say something about music and chords. Maybe ask the question in another forum? (something with music?)
