What is the date for softball in the olympics in beijing???

so i am in total love with softball and i live on the western coast so does anyone know what the date is for softball in the olympics...and please no answers like

who cares the olympics are g*y

or

who cares softball is a dumb sport or anything like that

I JUST HAVE TO KNOW WHEN SOFTBALL COMES ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1st- Pensylvania is NOT the Western Coast.

They're over until 2016 the earliest, the USA lost to Japan and took silver.

Japan defeated the U.S.A. 3-1 in the gold medal match on Thursday night after eliminating the Australians in a marathon 12-innings game the night before.

We can only hope that the quality and intensity of the matches played in Beijing see the return of softball to the Games from 2016 onwards. apparently it's all a t*t-for-tat thing between the IOC and the U.S.A., who refuse to commit their best players to playing in the Olympics as the domestic season is in progress.
