  1. The Davos question that everyone is posting their answer to on You Tube is this,

"What one thing do you think that countries, companies or individuals must do to make the world a better place in 2008?"

My answer? Every man, woman and child should plant 1 tree each and nuture it for that year. Also , everyone should stop using plastic grocery bags and use canvas. The savings in oil and the potential for co2 uptake would certainly make a dent in 2 of our problems.

  2. The World Economic Forum, held recently in Davos, Switzerland was themed mainly on the "Power of Collaborative Innovention": a call for collaborative & innovative leadership to address the challenges of globalization (conflict, terrorism, water conservation, climate change).

    The main conceptual pillars were:

    1.- Competing While Collaborating

    2.- Addressing Economic Insecurity

    3.- Aligning Interests across Divides

    4.- Exploring Nature’s New Frontiers

    5.- Understanding Future Shifts
