  1. It depends what you mean by deadliest. The snake with the most toxic venom is the fierce snake, also called the inland taipan, of Australia. However, the snake which kills the most people every year is the Indian cobra - it often lives in close proximity to people, resulting in bites being more common than in other species, and there is no access to anti-venom in rural areas, meaning more of the people bitten are likely to die.

  2. Fierce Snake or Inland Taipan (Oxyuranus microlepidotus ), Australia. The most toxic venom of any snake. Maximum yield recorded (for one bite) is 110mg. That would porbably be enough to kill over 100 people or 250,000 mice.

  3. The most poisonous land snake is the Australian Tiger Snake. 0.693 grams of its toxin is enough to kill a human.

The most poisonous snakes on the planet are some species of sea snakes. They are not aggressive, but their venom is 100 times stronger than that of all other snakes.

  4. "With a venom 100 times more lethal than any other snake, the Sea Snake (Hydrophis Belcheri) is the most poisonous. It is the most venomous of any land or sea snake. They are found in the Indian and Pacific oceans."

I believe The Black Mamba or the beforementioned Taipan, though I'd bet the Mamba - Is the most deadly one, as those attack the most (Black Mamba is also one of the fastest, and one of the most aggressive)

  5. fierce snake or inland taipan
