What is the deal with Gulf Coast BBQ in the Newport shoping mall in Jersey City?

It has a sign on the windows saying it will open on July 7th but ever since it's been closed. Lights off, no people, nothing.

Anyone know what the deal is?

Since malls don't usually earn full rent until a store is open for business, they will be right on top of the story.
