  1. She is not ANTI-big oil. However, she does not make policy simply because it will help big oil. She believes that more drilling will help the american people. The fact that it helps big oil is secondary

  2. she's going to be trouble!

  3. who knows... she just wants to speak in tongues...and do crazy stuff like that ....like the rest of the assembly of god people.... that is not christianity... that is cultic peganism

  4. "Big Bad Oil" provides hundreds of thousands of jobs to Americans. Just thought you should know.

She was "Anti-Big Oil" by getting the oil companies operating in Alaska to fork over more of the revenue following an increase in oil prices. She in turn gave that money to Alaskans.  Residents of Alaska actually own the rights to the oil their. So every Alaskan gets a chunk of the profits.

She supports more drilling in Alaska because that means more jobs for Alaskans - she is looking out for her constituents.  In addition, the price on a commodity will not lower until demand decreases, or supply increases. More drilling domestically will make us LESS vulnerable to the wims of State-controlled oil producers like Suadi Arabia, Russia, Venezuela, etc.

  5. Besides, her husband works for BP oil company!!!

  6. Duh.. who else would drill for it.. that's kind of there job and its dirty work just to get us everyday americans our oil we need.

  7. Do you realize that the U.S. needs to get it's own domestic oil? Jeez, we need someone to provide us with oil, at least until we develop an economically viable alternative.

Also, like the guy above me said. Big bad oil provides thousands of jobs to Americans, provides the nation with the oil needed to make gasoline so you can drive to work, and big bad oil is owned by thousands of regular American shareholders, and mutual funds etc. This is such a socialist kind of question to ask.

I've got an idea, lets just get rid of all these "big oil" companies, it's not like we need oil or gasoline.
