What is the deal with dumb laws?

If you dont mow your yard for two weeks the city throws a fit.

There is a law that you have to move your car once a week but its not enforced to everyone. It sounds like the city is running out of things to do or they are communist. We have never had laws like this till recently. As long as I am not hurting someone, stealing or threatning people then leave me alone. What do you think?

  1. it a scheme; you pay their taxes then they devise laws to make you pay for any and everything, its double dipping on citizens and i find it criminally felonious and the judges and cops should start spending time in jail for  breach of public trust; of course they never get tickets like you or i; so what makes them diff, nothing except they have been put here to extort money out of you

  2. Communism is an economic theory and it is unrelated to your question.  It is not a generic term for those that pass laws that you don't agree with.  Many cities, most cities,  require people to keep lawns mowed, for a couple different reasons.  The first is rats, fleas, and such and the second is just aesthetics.  If your place looks like c**p it makes the whole neighborhood look worse and drives down the property values for your neighbors.  Same with abandoned cars.  They want them to move just to prevent people from leaving junked cars in the street forever.

  3. Yes. To many stupid laws. communist SOBs.

  4. Its because you stupid people elect dumb officials.

I don't mean to be crude, not at all, but it's the truth. No one ever checks out their candidates thoroughly before electing them into their local office.

And if you didn't vote for him, then find loop holes in these laws (there always is) and sue the h**l out of these public officials. it will make them think twice.
